Results of the IV annual online Congress “AYURVEDA TODAY 2021. Health practices for the whole family”

The 4th International online-congress ‘Ayurveda TODAY-2021’ was held on February 6-7.

Nine experts from Russia, India, Iran, Canada, USA and Australia presented their reports on various aspects of ‘Health practices for the whole family’. During two days, more than a seven hundred of registered participants from 46 countries had an opportunity to join life webcasting and ask their questions on traditional methods of maintenance of youth and longevity directly to the speakers online.

Dr. Vasant Lad is an iconic figure of modern traditional medicine, he combined the knowledge of allopathic Western medicine and the philosophy of Ayurveda.

This person is known far beyond the borders of India, a unique doctor, a famous writer, the author of dozens of popular Ayurvedic books, including the book "Secrets of the pulse: the ancient art of the Ayurvedic pulse".

What can be done to preserve health and fight sickness staying at home? In this session, we discussed a few of the Ayurvedic formulations which can be prepared at home. We were specifically looking into those formulations which can be prepared with easily available herbs and local substances for a non-Indian household.

In the presentation Dr. Narayanan Nambi tried to elaborate daily practice of Ayurveda in the context of the Bhoota Shuddhi as well as Subdosha correction. Five Vata, five Pitta, five Kapha balance means we are totally marching towards perfect health. Moreover a deeper balance of these helps to stabilize Ojas, Thejas, and Prana. A detailed elaboration of the above will be delivered during the presentation.
