Ayurveda is a traditional healing system from India, that not only treats physical ailments but also helps to create harmony at mental and spiritual levels

In this course, you will learn about various types of spiritual and mental healing modalities and techniques as described in Ayurveda. Since a majority of our physical diseases and discomforts originate from the mind and beyond, it becomes important to learn these subjects in order to get rid-off our diseases permanently.

  • Ayurvedic psychology. Part one 

Introduction to the Mind, qualities of Mind; objects, function, location of Mind; psychological aspects of Health; the operational Guna (Qualities) of Mind; constitutional analysis (Mind types); role of Mind in disease manifestation.

  • Ayurvedic psychology. Part two 

Tridoshas and Mind; influence of Tridoshas on Mind; relation between Trigunas and Mind.

  • Yoga Sutras: five states of Mind 

Five states of mind Pancha Kosha: physical – Annamaya kosha, energy – Pranamaya kosha, mental – Manamaya kosha, wisdom – Vijnanamaya kosha, bliss – Anandamaya kosha, self – Atma.

  • Rejuvenation of Mind 

Internal rejuvenation or kayakalpa; external kayakalpa; importance of yoga in maintaining health.

  • Jivananad and Jiva Meditation 

Soothes and energizes the body, mind, senses and the soul for the whole day. It is also a superb tool to fight stress and increase memory and concentration.

  • Daivavyapashraya Chikitsa 

Introduction of Trisutra Ayurveda and Trividha Aushadha; explanation of Daivavyapashraya Chikitsa; methods for spiritual healing like Mantra (Chants), Mangala (Auspicious ceremonry), Homa (oblation), Gomana (going to Pilgrimage) etc.; Triashanas (Three Basic Desires) and Mool Pravarti (Instincts).

  • Satwavajaya Chiktsa 

Introduction of Satwavajaya Chiktsa; description of Manonigrana (control of Mind); healing the Mind at emotional and subconscious level; Achar Rasayana.

  • Yukti Vyapashraya Chikitsa 

Introduction of Yukti Vyapashraya Chikitsa; cleansing the body and enhancing the ojus through internal cleansing and external treatments.
