Ayurveda course. Module 1. Sanscrit, Darshana and Siddhanta

First module of the Ayurveda course is devoted to learn a basic set of technical terms in Sanskrit with their etymological derivations. You will learn the six systems of knowledge in ancient India known as the Six Darśanas, and Siddhanta.

You will be able to systematize your knowledge of the main concepts and principles of Ayurvedic medicine.

At the Ayurveda course, you will study the concept of health in Ayurveda and will be able to make an assessment of your patients’ health in terms of Ayurvedic medicine. You will learn to apply the main Ayurvedic concepts and principles in lifestyle and diet choices.

We will study the principles of assessing the inborn constitution (Prakruti) and clinical criteria of pathological state of Doshas (Vikruti).

You will study the pathogenesis of diseases, learn their mechanisms, and understand how they develop. You will learn different types of therapy in Ayurveda and treatment protocols for selected non-communicable diseases, including lifestyle recommendations, clinical dietology, clinical phytotherapy and treatments.

The course is based on studying the authentic Ayurvedic manuscripts and their detailed elaboration.
