Ayurveda course. First level

At the first level "Basics of Ayurvedic medicine" you will study the concept of health in Ayurveda and will be able to make assessment of your patients’ health in terms of Ayurvedic medicine. You will learn to apply the main Ayurvedic concepts and principles in lifestyle and diet choices.

First level consists of 3 modules:

This module is devoted to learn a basic set of technical terms in Sanskrit with their etymological derivations. You will learn the six systems of knowledge in ancient India known as the Six Darśanas, and Siddhanta.

You will study the concepts such as Prakriti, Sarira, Mind, Lifestyle, Diet from the perspective of Ayurvedic medicine. You will learn methods of Rasayana to improve innate and adaptive immunity through mind, lifestyle, diet and medications.

You will study the pathogenesis of diseases, learn their mechanisms, and understand how they develop. You will learn different types of therapy in Ayurveda and treatment protocols for selected non-communicable Diseases.
